Democrats: Are you guys okay with the fact that our tax dollars are being given to people...?

The left wing nut jobs and the right wing nut jobs are so divided that the USA is like a broke stove and you people are too stupid to get out of your own way you all might as well be shouting Death To America because Americans are destroyng the USA.

We live in a much more laid-back society. People think that if they just sit down and get a check in the mail, all is well. I can't say that for everyone within that group though. There are several who are just unable to find jobs or pay off their mortgages because they are just that poor. The government should be like a parent: they should at least give that specific group a some welfare for a certain period of time until they are able to get a job and pay off things (bills, food, etc.). After that time is up, they're on their own. At least that's what I think is somewhat fair.

...wait, what? What are you talking about? Seriously, you just did a massive gear shift in the middle of your own question. Are you talking about unemployment? Welfare? Funding racist groups? Which is it? You seem to be jumping between them, and I can't see anything specific that you're targeting. You mention welfare at the end, but it has nothing to do with the rest of what you've said here.

But let's assume you're talking about welfare anyway. Do I need a thank you to know that giving tax dollars to these people is a good thing? Absolutely not. We in this country have realized that lives saved are thank you enough. Yeah, sure, some of these people will never fully get back on their feet. There are going to be more than enough that do that I consider it entirely worth it. Your lack of faith in these people is appalling.

I grew up in a very rich community, because my father was a pastor at a church, and I lived in a rectory. My family where the hard working middle class, both my mother and father worked two jobs to support the family, and most of the millionaires didn't work, they lived off of interest, which in my opinion is no better than living off welfare. They can afford to give more money, they get two times the amount my parents made in a year in interest. To me, that's unamerican. Don't be selfish with your money, help people in need.

Welfare checks are taking care of many children, infirm and old people who in their youth could never

get a decent job or schooling. They deserve some restitution.

I'm sure there are a lot of white rednecks living in trailer parks getting welfare that would be surprised by your description of them.

I think you forget that the dollars you are talking about are actually proceeds from oil stolen from Iraqi oil wells. So stop kidding yourself that you are a productive member in the face of earth.
