My friend is getting married and moving to Canada. She does not want traditional gifts because she can not?

take them with her. She said people may give her cash, if they would like to give her a gift. How do you put that on an invitation without it being tacky?

if you are close friends she will understand. give her something small but meaningful, and NOT cheap. tell her that since she is moving away, that you would like a piece of you to always be with her

ask the sales lady that the invitations are being purchased from. They can advise her how to make that happen without sounding tacky.

    'Less brittle gifts appreciated please.'

    Simple but informative.
