clear with sparkles nail polish: glam or tacky?

If you just use the clear and sparkles.. tacky. If you paint your nails a color first, then put on the clear with sparkles over that.. that's glam.

One your ethniticty has nothing to do with a nail polish being tacky. and yes depending on your age it would be a tad tacky if you were wearing a concert outfit. After 14 large sparkle nail polish is very childish.

That's the type of nail polish I used when I was 7-ish.

If you get the kind with smaller sparkles and paint it over a solid color, it can look totally glam. Just don't over do it.

Get the kind thats clear with glitter in it, I think its called diamonds or something by the sally hanson brand. not those big sparkles...thats for little girls.

It's better than no nail polish.

for a classy type thing i wouldn't do that. just plain clear or a french manicure would be fabulous. the other is cute but not right for that occasion.
