Anyone have a Turtle Beach PX21 headset?

Hey guys.

I wanted to know some more about this headset from people who own it.

Well right now I am seriously considering picking up a Turtle Beach Ear Force PX21 headset for my PS3 gaming (MW2). I have researched a lot about it but have a few questions to those of you that have/used one of these headsets.

1. I have heard that there is a "hissing" problem. How loud is the hissing? Is it very noticeable? Or for that matter, is there even a hiss at all?

2. How much have these helped you in your gaming? Preferably MW2? Is the sound good? And how about being able to hear footsteps, grass rustling, reloading etc?

Lastly, is there anything else I should be aware of?

I know these are a lot of questions, so I appreciate any kind of feedback.

I will pick a Best Answer? ;D

I have the PX21 and it is a great head set there is a "hiss" but only because of it not being wireless and connected right to the ps3 (its the electricity) and its not really a problem. The sound is awsome you have to read the directions to figure out how to get the sound through your headset and yes you can hear footsteps grass rustling and if there close to you u will hear them reloading it even has the direction of witch the sound is coming from it goes through that side of the headset. it can connect to any game consoles so yea i would get it its a great headset i luv it!

You should get a replacement if you call the turtle beach people. I just got the same headset so I can't wait to test them out.

There isn't a hissing problem. I would just get X3's cuz the sound is good. Turtle Beaches are cheap though and for people who need to hear somebody's footsteps across the map but that's just me.
