Why are Black People maligned?

In the U.S. right now, blacks appear to be an easy target for racist cowards looking for a whole group to vent their hatred on.

Like you said, blacks are not perfect... They have their group (i.e. too many but not all individuals within the group) flaws... But so does every other race or ethnic group. One reason it's now open season on blacks in the U.S. is that the president is black (even half black is too much for the hateful) and many people can't stand that. Or, they believe a black president will mask the racism in the U.S. as a whole. Meaning, they will often say "Oh, the U.S. isn't racist... Look... We even have a black president!" As if people can't see through the hypocrisy.

Cowards pick what they believe to be easy targets.

@Jessica W - Yes... "group flaws," as in too many black fathers skip out on their children; it's among the highest, if not the highest rate! That taints the whole group, even though many black men don't do this.

Group flaws? The level of ignorance and bigotry is astounding, even if you try to use sugary words. Blacks can be nice??? You are judging a whole group based off what one individual did? You people have the intelligence of a box of hammers.

they've become the country's punching bag.Anyone who has no self esteem can give themself an instant ego boost by attacking Black people.It's quick and so much easier than improving their life.

Black people we are really kind..we're just misunderstood..dont get me wrong we are nice but it is some bad seeds just like its bad seeds in other races too..I care about everyone and try my best to treat them with respect.
