Comcast or Verizon FiOS for Montgomery County?

We have Comcast now for internet, but they seem so unreliable and it takes days to get a tech out for repairs. Is FiOS any better?

I'm talking about reliability and prompt service calls, not bandwidth...

    I dumped Comcast years ago and went with FIOS. Haven't looked back since. The service has been great.

    During the bad storm last week all of Leisure World lost their Comcast TV for about 4 or 5 days. I talked to one of the employees there. He said that he had the phone/Internet/TV bundle and when he lost TV his phone was gone too. If you have FiOS and you lose power a backup battery will keep your phone working for hours.

    I have had FiOS for years and I love it.
