Agreed - Stan Getz, Joao Gilberto and his wife, Astrid did the original and there hasn't been a better version since. For a newer take, I believe Diana Krall has performed it as well.

Idk smoothest but one of the most jazziest covers Ive heard of that song is by Eroll Garner. I heard it on Pandora and Ive never been able to find the same version anywhere else. Youtube has one but it fails in comparison to the other version...I'll post a link if I find it before this question closes
