Permanent Residency Requirements - $10,000.00 U.S. in the bank?
I have checked and rechecked the requirements for becoming a permanent resident in PH. None of them are a problem. Except I keep hearing that one condition is you have to show certification from a bank that you have a minimum of $10,000.00 U.S deposited. But I can't seem to comfirm this even with the PH Govt. I don't see it listed. bit I here individuals & officials say different stories. I hope this is not true. Anybody??

There are different categories of residence visas. There is a retirement visa that requires a dollar deposit which may be what you were

Why not get in touch with someone in this PH government to get your answer, surely there is a way to contact them by telephone.
