How to get sound working when connecting to TV?

I have a nVidia GeForce 7900 video card in pc when i connect it to my tv using a dvi-hdmi cable how can i get the audio coming through the tv.

This is a common problem. Computers generally don't pass audio to a DVI or HDMI output by default. Sometimes you can enable that option thru the control panel, but not always.
Here's an easy solution. Examine the HDMI connectors on the back of your TV. One of them should have a pair of red/white RCA jacks immediately adjacent to it. Those jacks are there for situations like this.
Get a 3.5 mm to RCA stereo adapter like in the link below. Connect the RCA side of the adapter to the above-mentioned RCA jacks on your TV. Then, select that HDMI input with your remote.
If your computer only has a DVI output, use an adapter like in the 2nd link.
