Jesus went on and on about tolerance, but his followers make the Klan look like, well, Jesus. Show me the intolerant atheists, those that are actually intolerant, not those who's intolerance is Limited to not tolerating the intolerant, and perhaps I will come to believe both sides are bad rather than just the side of sweetness and light being bad.

Ah another fresh 40 posts to answer with! :D sorry it took so long to reply, I had to wait for my daily thingy to regenerate.

Anyways, just because they preach something does not always mean they follow it. If one is to preach something then they should lead by example, but for many however, this is not the case. Some people just need the to need to hate. They are often blind of it, that is why other people serve as mirrors so that they can see into the depths of themselves, often, what others comment about our behavior, is true. Though not all the time.

Take homosexuals for example, what they do is what they do, it is not a thing you are born with but it is NOT so simple as a choice either. Usually one's sexual preferences are determined by what they experience during puberty/adolescences. (I always receive strong criticism for this, I only use it to further my case, due to the fact that such strong criticism would not come without a hint of credibility towards the case.) During this time period boys and girls should be just about getting over their boy/girl coodies (god knows where that started) but the majority of their friends should still be the same gender they are (I don't think this ever changes for most) so the probability of them fooling around with a person of the same gender is significantly higher.

And we all fooled around at this age, whether with ourselves or with others. So to top it off, Homosexuality is not a choice, and it is not something you are born with. A no to both.

Now we get to the point, is homosexuality bad? If both partners are consenting, let them have at it! So long as it doesn't harm anyone I see no problem with it. Abortion is a tricky subject for that one though... to which I must reply with this philosophy. "It is as natural as for one to live, as it is as natural for one to die." Though I will agree that abortion should be made within a certain time frame.

People make mistakes, and though I would dearly love for them to be responsible for their mistakes, I would also hate for them to make a mistake by having a child for which they will abuse/neglect.

Assisted suicide, both parties are consenting but it does harm one of the parties as well. In which I must reply, people should be given the right to choose whether or whether or not they want to live or die. (again, this conflicts with abortion, which is why I said earlier that if an abortion is to be done it should be done within the time before the fetus reaches a certain maturity.)

Now I'm a strong supporter for the legalization of Marijuana, but I'm against the commercialization of putting addictive substances into thing to sell your product more. Such is the same for soda products and cigarettes, and I have no doubt what so ever, that it would be done with old Mary Jane as well. While I do support Mary Jane, I am against alcohol, alcohol harms a person in so many ways... and not just them... others as well. And although I am for the legalization of Mary Jane because it has no real detriments, I am personally against the use of any thing that would dull ones senses other than medically related issues. Yet, I would have to respect the user if they are doing so with consent and outside of the multi-billion dollar corporations technique of making them addicts.

I hope you enjoyed my answer.

in case you knew the sky grew to become into "blue" yet everybody reported it grew to become into "pink" and that they reported it in this style of trend that it made you experience belittled, does not that make you offended? properly, it is how i think whilst others say I might desire to be tolerant of different religions. there is in basic terms one thank you to God and Heaven - by way of Jesus. except somebody is going by way of Jesus, then the different paths to Heaven are at terrific ineffective and and worst a tragic waste of time and attempt. To be tolerant of something it is faulty is merely undeniable "incorrect". that's a Christian's job to not shove this "wrongness" in human beings's faces, yet to tutor compassion and gently handbook those interior the incorrect back over to the wonderful side. Granted, that's not tolerance, in spite of the fact that this is the wonderful ingredient to do.

tolerance as a means of ministering is different from accepting something you know is evil as righteous. It is a job for the righteous to keep evil out of their midst and rebuke evil.

Personally, I think this is just a cultural meme. Like, people just keep on repeating it, and people start to believe that it's true.

    I don't think it's true at all.

And asking this question then projecting your thoughts of who you feel are intolerant is................ tolerant? or opinion?

If opinion then can others not say the same?
