Would this help reduce illegal immigration?
From Malaysia:
An ethnic Indian Malaysian was recently sentenced to whipping and 10 months in prison for hiring six illegal immigrants at his restaurant. "I think that after this, Malaysian employers will be afraid to take in foreign workers (without work permits). They will think twice."
Talk about personal responsibility, I guarantee after 1 whipping, the employer would be highly motivated to never hire another illegal again, whether the federal government did or did not provide a computerized database.
Ok, Max, how about 90 days in jail or the whipping, the employer could choose his medicine.

Maybe a little cruel and unusual punishment would work.
I like the idea of public punishment .It certainly sends a strong message to the offenders. It was done here in the US for years with public hangings.Unfortunately the liberal idiots decided we must care more about the poor perpetrators rights and none about the victims rights. That is insanity at its worst. Some people still use corporal punishment on their own children but God forbid we do anything harsh to the rapist, child murders and all the others that openly commit crimes against humanity as a whole. And yes I equate being an illegal alien as being a full fledged criminal.
I also don't have the time to march and protest everyday. The pro-illegal alien supporters are bussed in from all over the country to protest in my state of AZ.We legal Americans are too busy working and trying to make ends meet in a very poor economy.I am active in anti-illegal alien organizations,I donate funds, arrange printing of material for distribution and offer room in my home as accommodations to other activists that may need a place to stay or hold meetings. I do as much as I can.We all must do our part to help legal citizens in our nation.

With all the stuff going on in AZ no one mentioned that the billions of dollars (tax-payers dollars) are being spent at the air ports and shipping ports for ID for people entering at these locations. This is predigest why we can't protect our country all the way around. Florida has a problem with illegals. The fact that ICE, and all the other securities call these people illegals should stand for something. Something needs to be done. The American people as being treated as though we are in the wrong.
I think if they are just trying to make a better life, why not in their countries. This is not about MX it is about anyone who comes through, prayer rugs are caught up in the smuggler row in all the slop that is left behind this is part of the problem. No one knows who is coming through. I do not have the time to march for anything. These people seem to have all the time in the world because the taxpayer is feeding, housing, medical care, schooling and giving them money to live. So they have the time to protest our laws. Shame on bo is this the change and transparency we were looking for, a trip to foreign lands with out leaving our own country

That is cruel, but what is even more cruel is how much money is drained from Arizona and American tax-payers due to all the illegals coming into the state because the federal government does virtually nothing to protect the border and because Mexico does a horrible job of caring for its citizens. Even worse, the quality of life in Arizona has declined, especially in border regions. American citizens shouldn't have to suffer because Mexico does a terrible job of caring for its citizens. The Mexican government should be handed a bill, well over a $ 1 billion for all the costs related to all the illegals they let come in. Until they seal their end of the border, we should continue to bill Mexico for all expenses related to their illegal immigrants.
Here in the U.S the government should fine those who hire illegals. If that doesn't work, the fines get bigger, and if that fails, they can bring sanctions against the company or file a lien against them.

I am English and live in England.
This type of punishment sounds perfectly acceptable to me.
Once a few people had received it,everyone else would think twice before hiring illegals.

it would get there attention
BTW, it is only cruel and unusual punishment if the punishment doesn't fit the crime.
