Oh wait and I forgot to say I wish Miguel luck with the Padres.
forget steriods already! regardless of steriods Miguel was still a proven good player * facepalm* steriods this, steriods that, just because someone takes steroids,it doesn't mean their a bad person.. though the orioles are winning and I like it ^0^
okay forget that :/ just not the first part of that last one.
If they wanted to trade him to the padres atleast get someone fair in return like Will Venable or Kyle Blanks..someone proven not like this Wynn guy

I hope Tejada does well for the Padres. The Padres now have a bat than can protect Gonzalez in the lineup which is going to be a good thing during the last two while they compete for a playoff spot.

Tejada isn't a bad acquisition but Jorge Cantu would have been a better pickup. Cantu is much younger and better defensively. Maybe the price would have been too high so Padres thought of Tejada as a good plan B.

Actually, you meant "you're," not "your." "Your" is the possessive form, while "you're" is the contraction for "you are." It's a common mistake.
I'm not too impressed by the trade. I don't think it will give the Pads much of a boost. Tejada is way past his prime. He is only hitting .269 with 7 HRs this year, and if I recall correctly, he has outlived his usefulness as a fielder. I wouldn't want him playing everyday for my team, but maybe the Padres were desperate for a 3B.
I've never heard of Wynn Pelzer (the AA prospect who was 6-9 with a 4.20 ERA), but I assume he's a mid-level talent, which would be appropriate for this type of trade.
I think this trade will be a non-factor.

Look's like a salary dump for the O's and they also get to bring up a younger prospect to play third. The Padres get a solid veteran to help them win the west. Typical deadline MLB trade.

It doesn't hurt the Padres, however, if Oriole fans started burning effigies of Peter Angelos in Camden Yards i would not be shocked-pretty much another stupid trade by one of the worst front offices in baseball-the Orioles!

I was surprised by it. The Padres got a much better deal, even though Tejada is 36. I thought the O's would look for a little more in the trade though...

why? Baltimore loves him, then they get rid of him, then as soon as he comes back, they get rid of him again. why? Give Baltimore someone they can actually like. Or has Markakis taken that place in Baltimore?
and for the Padres, I guess it's a good move because they know they're in the race, but again, his numbers aren't the greatest.

It's an okay trade, he's past his prime a little bit so he could be a decent bench player.
Other than that, he's probably not going to help them out.

I was just as surprised to see that as when I saw that the Orioles hired Buck Showalter as their new manager.

Tejada is not what he used to be but who knows? Maybe he will surprise everyone.
