Check with a numismatist in your area. They could appraise it. "Grimes" is obviously clueless judging by his answer.

A professional coin expert can help you. Some over-struck coins have very high values. Grimes is obviously a nut.

I like easy questions. A penny is worth 1 cent silly! I don't care if they struck it three times (and yer out!), its still just a penny.
