MacBook Air Hard Drive Issue?
I recently purchased a MacBook Air off a friend of mine for a total steal: just $500! However, I found that it only had 31GB free. When I opened Disk Utility, I was surprised to find that it read "31/55GB Free". How is this at all possible and how can I reset my hard drive to be the total 120GB without loosing the OS? I don't care if I lose data. I just want to start fresh like it's a new mac with ALL of the space of course. Help?

The first generation MacBook Air had as an option the 60 GB SSD or the regular 60 GB hard drive. Odds are that is what you have in it. The new MacBook Airs have the larger hard drives.
I'd suggest emptying the trash in iTunes & iPhoto. And deleting an apps you don't need.
