1 of the big reason i wanted to get a laptop is the portability

and then i wanted to play this game called Ragnarok Online

IDC if laptops arent for gaming

but yeah the specs of the game are as follows

Recommened Requirements

CPU Pentium - 700 MHz or higher

(Athlon CPU, Celeron)

VGA , Video Card DirectX compatible video card with 32MB video memory, Transform & Lighting, DirectX 8.0 or higher

SOUND Sound Card DirectX compatible sound card / 3D Surround Sound Support

Other Other 2.2GB or higher Hard Drive space

now im pretty "sure" these 2 laptops can run it (im not sure thats why i ask you people)

now im a 17 years old HS student so MS oFFICE IS A BIG DEAL FOR ME

Best Buy review said Toshiba is the better choice

i dont think either unless you upgrade to windows 7 professional because the game does not say that it supports 7. i would find one with a better processor. going cheap means they wont last and they will be replaced.

The 2 laptops are pretty similar except the toshiba has more ram and HD space. more ram usually means you can have more stuff running at the same time without it having to go to the hard drive to get more files

Dell is probably a more popular brand and runs mostly dell hardware

Toshiba probably used more generic hardware

Can you put more RAM (memory) in the Dell? if so, it would probably be a better choice

both will run it. the toshiba has better specs and lower price, so there you go.

    consider buying this toshiba though

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...

it has the same amount of memory and is the same price. However, it has MUCH better graphics and a dual core processor, which means its almost twice as fast as the other toshiba one.

I think that first one is better than second one.
