For the 600rr mabey $3-4,000, not including labor or the profit they want on it, just for parts. This is for a brand new cbr 600rr.

A wise guess would be that they are like everyone else. Manufacturer's profit margin isn't what you'd think. The actual markup may be as high as 300%, but everyone gets a slice of the pie. What may have only $500.00 worth or materials in it, may have a consumer price of $2000.00 or more. Labor and transportation changes (on every part that goes on it). To get a bike from Japan to the continental US isnb't free either. When I worked for a Toyota dealer (before they were made in the US) Everything was shipped by ocean freighter. The cars were inexpensive but the freight cahrges were H3LL. The actual profit margin would never be known unless you are in the business.

Only Honda knows for sure, and they're not telling. This kind of info falls under what are considered "industrial secrets".
