And while the monsters may be giants, we still have power. Things are pretty simple. You just have to understand the infrastructure. Shampoo and lotions and most cosmetic products are all detergents and petroleum. It's cheaper to make it into "product" then to dispose of it. Well if you're a Rethuglican, anyone who wants a stronger social safety net (or really, any social safety net) is a socialist. They've been redefining that word for years now. By their current definition, America has been socialist for most of its existence.

The extreme right-wing fascists have been trying to drag this country rightward for years. Just consider the fact that Obama is no more liberal than Nixon, yet he's supposedly a socialist...

Liberals are the ones who claimed for years that Europe is socialist. They used to taunt conservatives, saying "Why do you oppose socialism when it's working so well in Europe?"

Why are "socialist" countries like Greece, Portugal, Spain, and Italy going broke?

Why is "socialist" Germany the biggest exporter in the world, after China?

Now suddenly the liberals have flip flopped, and they accuse conservatives of saying Europe is socialist? ROTFL!

But sure, have it your way. So why are things so good in Germany, Norway, and Sweden if they are not socialist? Is capitalism really so good after all?

in reality there is no free market anywhere nor is there true capitalism in practice.every government in every nation has over regulated both concepts with gazillion rules & laws.in the USA the major changes occured after 1913 with the Progressive power grabs....

I call it creeping socialism. They started off with a total free market, started carving out section of their funds to give to those not willing to work, started taking more and more from people handing it out until well you get a situation like:

You are making no sense what so ever , one of Lenins first acts was to embrace capitalism by taking loans from european banks , no nation can survive for along without accumulating some form of wealth . Socialist Countries just excel at stealing every ones wealth .

Because it is the only thing that keeps their socialist programs afloat. History has shown that socialism is unworkable.

They practice 'soft' Socialism. They are now broke and turning back to the right though. I hate the fact that they are ahead of us on this. No form of Socialism works.
