I remember a few years back when a high profile football player, with a BS of some sort, admitted he was unable to read or write. Of course he actually turned out to be a pretty smart guy, he made the effort to learn to read and write and then used his money to hire managers to start a program for others like him. But it was his life experience and his efforts that ended up making him smart not a piece of paper saying he was.
