if my computer is connected to other computers how can i make it so the other computer cant view my files?

my computer is connected to a family members that doesnt even live in the same state and they are able to view everything on my computer. my internet history, my emails, even what i spend money on. i really need to find a way to block them from viewing it or taking my computer of the shared network. help! thanks.

okay if there is parental controling on it is there any way i can find out if its there? or get rid of it on my own? thanks!

    You should be able to go to your network settings and disable file sharing. But it sounds like someone has installed parental control type program on your PC. If you think this is the case you need to take it to someone to check out and remove the program.
