Teenage Resume: interests included?
Should a teenager include interests or hobbies on their resume? I have no work experience, but have been doing volunteering over the summer. Is there any need to include an interests/hobbies row to flesh out the page?

Put a small paragraph at the end of your resume. The order of a resume should be 1.Name and address and contact info, 2. Formal qualifications/exam results, 3. Work experience, and you should DEFINITELY put volunteering on this section, and finally 4. Personal interests.
For interests, put something positive, interesting and brief. Example: "In my spare time I enjoy music, film and playing team sports." Anything you do as part of a team sounds good, cos it shows you can get on well with others.

You should definitely, especially if they're constructive hobbies, like playing music or drawing or something. Also, if you do any extracurricular activities (sports team, debate club, whatever) go ahead and throw that on there. Make sure you don't forget the volunteer experience! And put on whatever awards/recognition/skills you may have acquired, like praise for attendance or speaking a second language. People love that stuff. Go ahead and throw any certificates you might have on there too, like babysitting or CPR or whatever.
