im really woried i updated a fake java??
well everytime i turn my pc on, for the last month or 2 theres been a message that comes up and its of a java update in the middle of my screen, its a window and the rest of the screen tints and turns darker. i click out of it and a balloon comes up in the bottom right corner of my screen off and icon(where the internet connectivity antivrus ect is.) i cliked the balloon and i clicked through several other windows and installed it. then i was woried it was fake or something because ive heard of things like this. so i went to my control panel and clicked update. it did the same thing as how it normaly starts when my computer starts but for some reason it let me download and install it again?!?! then i tried again and it said i ahve the latest. but when i downlaoded the second time there was the time from the first time i did it.
so what is this a virus????
i scanned with mcafee and windows defender and they found nothing. im pretty woried.
another thing, i was playing an online game for the past year(this is the reason i updated java) and it suddenly stopped loading and was a blank white or black screen after a java sign in the middle loaded and dissapeared. after updating it, the one that came up whenever i turned my computer on it started loading and working again
im so confused...do i have a virus? where would i look for it if mcafee and windows defender isnt picking it up????
also on control panel, add/remove a program says i only have ONE java and its fully updated, java 6 21

I think you should relax. Nothing seems wrong. thats the same exact java update I have. and you can go ahead and check in their official website (http://java.com/en/download/chrome.jsp?locale=en&h... java 6.21 is the latest version.
Java updates itself for the sake of your computer's security, so yea your computer is NOT infected.
