Are you looking to buy a 1957 Chevy?

I found a '55 four-door. It's rougher than heck, but I might try to scrape some money together later for a fun project.

In 1980, I had a chance to buy a nice '57 four-door dirt cheap. I had the money, I needed a car because I just sold my ^$&*#@! Jeep. I passed it up because it was a four-door. I are stoopud.

I owned one. Brand new in 1957. A 2 door hard top, ivory with a V-8 and automatic transmission. I loved that car. Sorry, this doesn't answer your question but I couldn't resist. Oh yeah, it had power brakes but no power steering. I don't know if power steering was even available back then. Heater, radio but no A/C. Gray seat covers with silver vinyl trim. Great car. I put inch and a half lowering blocks on the back and a dual exhaust system on it. Girls loved that car and guys were all jealous. Long time ago.
