wrench hit the back of the alternator. i saw a small spark and the vehicle died. it turns over but there is no spark comming from the coil. when the key is turned the gauges do not power up. the vehicle does turn over. any ideas on where to start?

Some times in the middle of the night, I wake up and my Dachshund is laying on my chest staring at me. Right in my face. Kind of like he is watching me sleep. I think he is plotting my demise. Why does he do this?

I got a 57 with a 327 in it. Now I have met a ton of old timers (ie guys who started rodding in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70,s) Who swear up and down "I'd take a 327 over a junk 350 anyday" I never asked them why.

So my question is why is a 327 better than a 350. And were they refering to a stock mill or one that had been hopped up?

Maybe there are some old timers here than can shed some light to this mystery. Course the guy I bought my 1940 Ford from swore all I needed was a 283 and set of fuelie heads and a duntov cam!

Got a 77 IH Scout. Taillights were working fine earlier today. Now they do not work at all. When you turn the turn signal on both sides flash. Brake lights still work. What is going on here and how can I trouble shoot it.

I picked a watermelon from my garden the other day. I stuck it with a knife and i cracked in half. like it almost sort of burst as soon as I stabbed it. It tastes alright just not as sweet as I was hoping. could just be the variety its an orange glow. I have never seen a melon just crack. Is there somthing wrong with it?

1977 got a 727

Got an 04 Dodge SRT-4. It has been in storage for 7 months. Of coarse the battery was dead so i took it out and threw it on a charger. When I installed it a heard a few poofing sounds. The heater/ac would not work. It keeps blowing fuses.

Any ideas what is causing this? I'm thinking I may have a short somewhere but have no idea how to troubleshoot it and track it down.

Im looking at buying a 1960 ford f100 4x4. My question is does anybody know of a company that makes a disc brake conversion for it. Or would i be better off just swaping out the front axle with one from a newer model. Also would I be able to swap in a 5spd? or would i run into issues with the transfer case.

We just got an 01 PT cruiser. This thing is a dog. Any Ideas on how to warm it up a little. I checked online and really didnt find much for it other than a cold air intake and exhaust system. But i keep hearing they have a hudge after market following. could somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks for the help
