Would you buy a compact truck (ie ranger, colorado, tacoma) that?
was diesel powered, got 30 mpg, had a 4 year 60,000 mile warranty, and had the largest payload of any compact pickup truck?

Oscar is full of crap. No small trucks ever got that mileage. And yes, I drove a number of small diesels, including Isuzu. The mileage was always exaggerated.

eh, probly the tacoma. besides the undeniable fact that I definitely have inventory 4x4 and it truthfully won't climb a vertical hill. i might get a 4-cyl no count the make and get 2wd except you definitely want 4x4. Mine sucks gas like a great truck w/ four wheel force and six-cyl.17 /18 hwy. 15/sixteen city. Geared too low for stable mileage. Rangers are stable problem-unfastened trucks too, yet 4-cyl. Tacos have between the wonderful engines Toyo. ever geared up. 6-cyl.? in line with danger a toss-up, like I say i'm no longer overjoyed with mine. continuously getting grimy MAP readings, and it does not look to hold a alignment for long, I additionally had to interchange all springs @ 100K miles. do not have mandatory it. this is a Taco fault.

No. 30 mpg for a small diesel pick-up is very bad. They should be getting in the high 40's minimum. Isuzu makes one that gets close to 60 mpg. Even the old Chevy Luv pick-ups got 50 mpg. Don't settle for 30. Look around some more. If a small diesel is only getting 30 something is wrong with it or it is geared wrong.

I agree with "D" and I like the Ranger or Colorado. The Toyota coma you mentioned will soon be a rust bucket.
