Why does my sister hate me?

Jealousy. I used to adore my older sister and she was so cruel to me.

Years later she admitted she always wanted to be like me.

But all I wanted was her to love me.

She does love me, but she is insecure as I am blonde and slim and she is fat and dark haired.

It hurts still.

My advice to you is to only say nice things about her to your parents and brother so that the bad words and actions only come one way from her. That will make her realise she is being harsh.

I also suggest you ask her straight out why she acts like she hates you. You may find that by talking about it your relationship improves.

I suspect that it is your relationship with your brother she is jealous about. Maybe you should involve her more in things you both do also.

my sister all she does is be mean to me but I don't say nothing I just remember what my bf told me: " one day she's gonna need you and you wont need her". Big sisters are annoying she is probably jealous. I have two older sisters with different kids by different men and no high school diploma. I am different from them I got a diploma, going to college and no kids and a wonderful bf. aso its just jealousy

Just talk to her maturely and ask her honestly why she hates you, and why she treats you like this. If she refuses to answer, maybe talk to your parents about it?

just be frank and ask her y she hates u. u dont even have to wait for the right timing just ask her sometime

try to avoid her, maybe she will also feel out and talk to u, i dont know bcuz this kind of people never change
