Nintendo 64??????????????

Where is the memory stored on an N64?? If I were to get a new N64, is there anyway ti take the memory from the old one and transfer it onto the new one?

Update:

Well than what is the Jumper Pak that is actually in the N64 that has a lid that says "Memory Expansion"?

I think that save files are stored on the cartridges. Some files also use a memory card that you plug into a controller, but that's usually just replays from racing games and such. Lets say you put your game, lets use Super Mario 64 as an example, into another N64. You would still have all of the stars you already collected.

The memory is stored in two ways- either on the game cartridge, or on the memory card that can plug into the back of a controller. The jumper pak provides more RAM for the games to run smoother and have better graphics. The expansion pak gives more RAM for the games to run even smoother and have even better graphics.

    Hope I helped! :)
