Ben's Comments about Jerry (motoGP)?

I´m not so sure Jerry will move to Ducati, even some media says it´s a done deal. Somehow I can't imagine him fitting there as well as Vale. There´s a potential clash of cultures.

Perhaps the better decision for him will be to move to HRC to help Casey and Dani take the final step towards the championship.

For the fans it would be great to have a three way fight between:

Honda with Casey, Dani and Jerry

Ducati with Vale and Nicky, and Filipo Preziosi

and Yamaha with Jorge and Ben with Ramon Forcada et al

Looks like a great balance of power and talent, just hoping for better racing.

I´m with Kel, If by any chance Ben and Jerry end up in the same team, it would be a great chance to have this brand as a title sponsor now than FIAT will go elsewhere.

edit.- also kind of fed up with the Rossi to Duc media frenzy. With this story and Bret Favre going flip and flop as well, I would like to fast forward and avoid the pain....

It's all speculation at the moment ~ if Rossi leaves Yamaha I think JB will go with him ~ they are a team and work well together ~

I am sure Ben would be happy to work with JB ~ he is good ~ but I really see him moving with Rossi ~ but that is just my gut feeling ~ I did not want to like Ben when he moved into MotoGP cause he took James Toeslands place ~ but he has won me over ~ I like him and hope he does well ~

I think that Rossi moving to Ducati without Jerry Burgess is even a braver step than just moving to Ducati. Exchanging team, bike and crew chief... I really think Rossi will bring Burgess with him unless Yamaha has some kind of hold on him. :)

Yes I was a little shocked to read Ben saying he would like to work with JB, but lets face it, who would NOT want to work with a guy who was trianed by Erv Kanemoto ?

As for JB joining Tom & Woody, I think it would be the other way round to be honest.

Yamaha / Ben would have to decide between JB and Alex Briggs Vrs T & W.

Saying that, If Vale does go RED ( on / off , gettng PlSSED OFF with that story already ) then Im 99% sure that JB & Alex will follow him to red. Its a winning team after all, why break it up.

Saying that, If Doohan getts his own way, he wants to run his own team with Casey as rider, JB as CC, Alex as mech and sponsored by Holden Cars.

[ i have to agree with Ciccio on this one, Jerry moving to Honda with Casey is probably his best bet..

as i don't think he could be his own man at Ducati..also Rossi is said to be very good friends with Guareschi the team boss there so that may push Jerry out a bit..

The same applies if he stays at Yamaha, with Ben, House, and Woody..

He is better off returning to his old home at Honda, with the Aussie rider..

All this assumes that Rossi is going to Ducati.......<^><...
