Can you hook up Playstation 3 you bought in US to TV in South Korea?
Hi, thanks for checking this out. In less than a week, I will visit Korea for about a month and I plan on bringing my Playstation 3 with me to play with my cousins. But I have seen cases where videos and games purchased from foreign countries fail to be compatible with electronic devices in United States. I will reward dime to the most thoughtful answer. Thanks for your time and answers in advance.

If they have a HD TV, then using a HDMI cable you should be able to plug in the PS3 as it is a universal piece of technology. As for games, i strongly suggest you don't purchase any from foreign countries because you are correct when you stated some games fail to be compatible. But your PS3 should work when plugged into a tv in any country.

The PS4 is maybe going to come back out everywhere from 2014-2016 maximum possibly, genuinely no longer this 12 months. i think of getting a PS3 would be a stable investment, you will genuinely get your moneys worth out of it.
