Can someone help me with this statistics problem please?
A manufacturing co started a new lean program for producing parts for an assembly process.
50 trials downtime occurrences was accessed. probability of a downtime occurrence caused by new lean program has been .06 (p=.06).
what is the probability of 2 or 3 downtime occurrences of the 50 were caused by the new program?
no more than 4?
at least 5?
less than 5 for 3 consecutive days?
I have absolutely no idea what I am doing here. The text book just makes me feel stupid.
Can someone please help me make sense of this?

Well... the event is happening more than once so...
the probability of downtime occurrences being caused is = 0.06
Now, there are 50 downtime occurrences so...0.06 x 50 = 3
So... the answer would be "no more than 4"
...i think...lol
