What are the fates for these players?

Marc Staal, Bobby Ryan, and Carey Price are all restricted free agents trying to work out new contracts w/ their respective teams. All of them seem to be taking more time than normal RF's and it will be interesting to see what happens, any thoughts?

BQ: Satan, still NHL bound or is he done?

They aren't taking all that much longer than normal, some RFAs still aren't signed when camp rolls around. Although that's not the ideal situation it's far from uncommon.

I would say however that if they haven't been given offer sheets by now they're unlikely to recieve them from other teams. So in my opinion they're going to re-sign with their respective teams.

I think Bobby Ryan will eventually re-sign with the Ducks. I think he will go on to have a great career. But as for Marc Staal and Carey Price, their futures are not quite so bright. Marc Staal I don't think will ever be more than a third line player and I bet in 5 years Carey Price will no longer be in the NHL.

Staal Resigns with NYR. Carey Price is obviously going to sign with the Habs. Bobby Ryan probably going to resign.

    BQ: Satan still NHL

I believe Marc Stall is a great player and will sign an extension. It might be taking a long time as he still is a young player and might be demanding more money then he is worth, and its just a matter of time till he notices. Bobby Ryan will be moved to Toronto for sure this year as Burke loves this guy. Burke will offer him good money to resign with toronto. Also, the leafs have the tools to give away for Ryan, as they can deal players like, Andrew Engelege, Dale Mitchell, John Mitchell, and some picks even if needed. Personally Im a huge Carey price fan and I hope he stays in Montreal. They have a great young team, and trading Halak insures that Carey is the GO to man for years to come/

    Marc Staal- Resign

    Bobby Ryan- To Pheonix

Carey Price- Obviously resigning considering they got rid of Halak.

BQ: He's done. He'll probably play for Slovakia. A similar story would be when Jaromir Jagr retired from the NHL and went home to play in Russia.

All will resign with their respective teams.

Marc Staal: 2 years at 2 million per year.

Bobby Ryan: 3 years at 3.25 million per year.

Carey Price: 2 years, 2.2 million per year with many performance bonuses that could push his cap hit to 3 million.

Oh and Satan will return to the Buffalo Sabres at one year for 1.5 million. Yeah pretty high for the devil.
