Yep it is normal that they do not see you till you are 9-12 weeks pregnant. I have my first midwife appointment in like two weeks and I will be almost 10 weeks pregnant when I go in.

Yes, that's very normal. I am being seen by a fertility doctor so I have ultrasounds scheduled with her at 6 weeks (yesterday!), 8 weeks and 10 weeks and then she releases me to a regular OB who won't see me until I'm about 12 weeks.

Very much typical - most miscarriages occur while your still in the first trimester - nothing can be done to prevent this which is why they won't schedule first appointments until your close to being out of the first tri

Mine did. I came in for a consult with the OB coordinator (a nurse who schedules appts and goes over paperwork and stuff) at 7 weeks (I don't even think they did a pee test on me then!), then came back at 9 weeks for a confirmation ultrasound and my first doc visit.

My doctor sees you right away for a blood test and to give you info. Then again at 6 weeks for ultrasound.

it doesnt seem like a big deal.. not to much happens in that time frame. i couldnt go to the doctor until i was 4 months pregnant due to insurance problems and everything was fine!

yes mam it is. cuz the pregnancy is still so new and the chance of miscarriage is much higher...and doctors cant really do anything for u at that point anyways...
