Chi Straightener??????

I am thinking about getting a Chi straightner. is it worth the money? And does it really stop working after a year? I have been using Remington wet2straight for the past year and it has caused my hair to become reallly dry. I want to get a straightner that wont cause a whole lot of damage like what my other straightner did. So will getting a Chi be a good choice?

CHi were a big deal a few years ago but honestly they are really not the best straightener. THey will be better than anything your buy from the grocery store but CHI have no heat control so you are unable to use a lower setting if you need to (the higher the heat the more damage) Also they are ceramic which is good but not as good as tourmaline (this is important because some material produce ions that help to seal the hair folicle minimizing damage) I would reccomend going to folica.com they have tons of reviews and info on all kinds of straighteners. I would reccomend looking into a sedu or solia they are much better in my opinion

Yes. I have the Remington wet to straight so I know exactly what you are talking about. It really drys and damages your hair.

I tried my friend's chi the other day and I really liked it and am now considering getting one for myself. I think it's worth the money.

chi's are amazing and are great for your hair. i also had one of those wet2straight things they dont even compare to a chi. i bought mine from jcp and the woman that sold it to me told me that if after a year it stops working that you can call the store and theyll send you a new one. so yes i thin k you should get one its def worth it

I use it, and I love it. Plus, it lasts forever. But remember to use a heat protectant, like Chi 44 Iron Guard.

Yes it is worth the money, it works really good by straightening your hair, and is a great product. I use it and love it :)
