Recently my printer stopped working. But the scanner works fine, I could scan documents into my computer. The copier works as well. The only thing that isn't working is the printer. When I try to print it says that it is online and ready but when I hit the print button it says that it isn't connected. I have uninstalled and re-installed the software but it still does not work. It is a Dell Photo All-In-One 922 printer running on a Vaio VGN-CS215J laptop with Windows Vista. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check to see if the Printer has been stalled. For Windows XP, choose START, CONTROL PANEL, PRINTERS, OTHER HARDWARE, PRINTERS AND FAXES, DELL PHOTO PRINTERS 720, then click PRINTER. Make sure there is no checkmark by PAUSE PRINTER. Similarly, in Windows 2000, click START, SETTINGS, PRINTERS, DELL PHOTO PRINTER 720, then PRINTER. Again, make sure there is no check mark by Pause Printing.
Determine if the ink cartridges are installed correctly by checking to see if both the tape and sticker have been removed from both the ink and colored ink cartridge.
Make sure the power cord to the printer is firmly secured in the power outlet.
