Music at the Bowl, does it get any better.?
I had the musical experience of my life Tuesday. Anyone else have one of these recently? We went to the Hollywood Bowl to hear a concert lead by the new conductor, Gustavo Dudamel. It was sensational for the musical dunce that I am. Gershwin and Bernstein were featured. This young man from Venezuela is a sensation. He had standing ovations several times. His English is not his forte but music....ah the sensation.

Hmmm..... That's funny. I went to the Bowl myself just last night. Same conductor, Dudamel, same orchestra, the L.A.Phil, and the same delightful setting. [A different program; this time Argentinian dances -- tantalizing!] There's something so romantic about the Hollywood Bowl. We who live in L.A. are blessed to have this venue available to us.
