Do you answer just to get 2 points or you are really willing to help the person?

i dont think anybody here consider this points concept since you are not gonna get a single pie with points.and i would like to really help if the question needs a real attention.but i saw you posting some crap questions which do not make any sense.as long as you post useless questions you should expect funny answers.

Many a times the rude answers which people write can hurt the questioner's sentiments. And people don't realize this.

~~~ Sometimes a stupid question is a stupid question and it must be said. There are many stoopid questions on here. Usually i answer with compassion and honesty, sometimes a swift kick can jumpstart a stalled mind!

Your delicate sensitivities are your problem. Grow some skin!

Every blessing and growth are painful! The greater the one, the greater the other! Pain is a part of life and honesty and truth can be painful. I tend to give people the respect of thinking that they can handle honesty, but delicate egos are what they are. Part od the maturation process.

As i said, would you rather me blow sweet smoke up your ****, or would you rather that i provide nutritious food for thought? If your ego is too 'shakey', go buy an SUV (fake penis) and then come back. Perhaps rather than getting incensed, you'd find some food for thought!

For my side, i have joined Y!A to really help people. I know i'm a bit eccentric but i don't like to hurt someones sentiments

I don't care about the points. Whether or not I want to help the person depends on the question being asked. I come on Answers to share my viewpoint but also because for some reason it's just fun-I'm not on a crusade to better humanity. Sometimes I give helpful answers just because I can and I think the asker is really looking for help. Why not?

I only leave rude comments to answers from bigots.

The rest of the time I try to be helpful.

trying to help someone may be my opinion would help that person,not a lot but at least a little bit.

if i find some interesting question then only i reply not always but their are some really stupid question which really doesn't make sense then some funny reply aren't bad.

I don't care about the whole point thing. I am trying to help people out on here. Too much spamming has gone on around here and it needs to stop.

not often in philosophy but in some of the other sections... or in the survey and polls the answers never require any long explanation!

Well, the point system is just make people feel good.. I use this forum to express my views which might help the person who has raised the query....

I would answer many more questions, if I was just trying to get points.

I give honest and straight forward answers. I like giving my opinion. I get on to see how other people think as well.. I don't see why some people get on just to give ridicules answers.
