Would you pick any of these 24-27 year old guys with 50+ wins to be possible 300 game winners?

Justin Verlander (77 wins)

Felix Hernandez (65 wins)

Chad Billinglsley (56 wins)

Cole Hamels (55 wins)

John Lester (53 wins)

Tim Lincecum (51 wins)

The oldest is Verlander at 27 and the youngest is Hernandez at 24.

It's really difficult to tell. Randy Johnson was the last guy to win 300 and when he turned 27 at the end of the '90 season he only had 24 wins under his belt. Nobody would have ever guessed he'd get to 300.

From that list I would favour the first three - Verlander, Hernandez and Billingsley because they are all bigger guys. Lester maybe. Lincecum is really piling up the wins but he's such a small guy I would project his career path to be more like David Cone or Pedro Martinez - not much left in the tank by his early 30s. Cole Hamels just seems too inconsistent.

The youngest with the second most wins would be an obvious choice, naturally. But he'd need to have some pretty monstrous years to get to 300, not to mention stay healthy and keep playing till he's 40. King Felix's averaged 13 wins in the 5 years he's been a starter, if that trend continued for another 15 he'd still be 105 short of the 300 mark. I doubt any of the six mentioned will get to 300, even Pedro and Jamie Moyer failed to reach that many wins.

i think of the extra effectual group gained, even even though it grew to become into via the slimmest of margins. The jets are suggested to be a reliable stronger group this season, as nicely as having made it to their convention finals 2 years in a row, and since the cowboys caught with them as nicely because of fact the lead for many the pastime, that maximum folk will think of if it weren't for the turnovers and outcomes, the cowboys might have gained, so, some will think of there's a great probability the cowboys will win their next pastime or a minimum of have a great season, i might could say if the cowboys do have a great season, we will not see it till pastime 7 or 8, and in the event that they have not gained a minimum of three video games via then, i'm particularly particular they gained't get a play-off spot. :) i think of they only could lots artwork to do allowing them to be a superbowl contender, and romo isn't the main considerable issue.

Felix is most likely because of his thick durable body and young age. I don't know if any of them will actually reach 300, if fact i highly doubt it, but he has the best shot. I'd say Lincecum has a shot...but I think that his unorthodox motion could cause injury in the future.

Nope, I'd bet heavily that none of those guys do.

Lincecum is the best, but at his size, and with what we've seen from him this year, I think his best days are already behind him.

King Felix' team is so bad.

If he was signed by the evil Yankees, maybe.

    Verlander won't last.

i really dont see anyone making to 300 again...I mean you need to win 15 games a season for 20 years and I just dont really see that happening
