WHAT ARE WE ALL HERE FOR ON THIS EARTH?

You've made a huge mistake - you've assumed there IS meaning to life and to our existence.

The logical conclusion is that there is no "reason" we exist. We "exist" for the same reason bacteria "exist". Humans fight and 'love' because we are animals who act upon our subconscious instincts, just like all other animals. The difference is we have the intellect to reason and, for the most part, make moral decisions rather than rash spontaneous actions based upon our instincts.

If you are a creationist, the hallmark answer is to say that the meaning of life is "To do God's will". I for one prefer to believe my life on earth is not some massive Sims game being played by some being I have no reason to believe in.

The best I can do with my life is try to be a good person to all people, to try to improve the lives of the people I meet. Imagine a world where everyone made it their goal to improve the lives of the people around them? I made that meaning up for my own life; no other being did it for me.

God does have a purpose for the Earth.

Jesus Christ tells us in the Lord's Prayer.

"Thy Kingdom come. Thy will take place on earth as it is in Heaven."

God's Will for the Earth hasn't happened yet.

But we know that we are close to that time.

Look at Matthew 24:1-14 and 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

We are in those critical times hard to deal with.

Just look around. People are at war, love is cooling off, and hatred is increasing.

People are suffering. This wasn't God's plan.

God keeps his promises.

Daniel 2:44 tells us that "God will set up a kingdom that will crush and put an end to all of these kingdoms"

Soon all of these Earthly governments will be gone.

Then God's Kingdom will take place on Earth.

Then Revelation 21:3-5, "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

So many scriptures prove that God does have a beautiful promise for the Earth.

We just need to be patient and trust in him.

"Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding."-Proverbs 3:5.

Jehovah God will never leave his loyal ones.

He is a lover of Justice.

Please pray to Jehovah God and ask for his guidance and understanding.

As someone stated in a previous question of this nature; TO BREED and guarantee the survival of our species. Same as all the other lifeforms.

We are not here to entertain some Ethereal Entity or make nice with our fellow man. The whole idea behind our existence is to make babies and assure that they survive long enough to continue the cycle. It is only our highly (sic) evolved brains that imparts the arrogance to believe otherwise.

The purpose of life is a symbiotic process. We are here to manufacture excrement and carbon dioxide, food and air, for the flora and fauna of the Earth and in return, the trees and grass give us oxygen and plant food to sustain our lives. Every living thing has a death penalty hanging over its natural soul and there is no appealing the sentence and no reprieve. We are locked in the scheme of things but we must remember to thank Mother Nature for the security of the lifetime job we are assigned to. As for me, I accept my fate and hug a tree everyday.

God's promise for the very near future. The question is, who do we live for?
