What is an all around great computer to run World of Warcraft on?

I was gonna start playing World of Warcraft again... I haven't played since the very first expansion. But now I wanna play again and I need a decent gaming computer, I don't know a gott dang thing about computers.... So yeah... Alienware or what?

I just want something that will let my Computer run smooth while playing the game without any lag at all.

I don't want to go overboard and pay over $1500.

I would not recommend Alienware due to a decent one with high specs being way over $1500.

However, I do suggest taking a look at the Asus G73. I recently purchases this computer and it is amazing what it can do for the price. So far, there is only one other Alienware I have found that can match its specs. It normally runs around $1500-1700 although Best Buy sells a downgraded version with a non-hd screen, only one 500 GB hard drive, no Blue-Ray player, and only 6 GB of Ram.

This would more than be able to run WOW, although if this is too much out of your budged, I suggest taking a look at Asus's other lower end gaming computers as they are all fairly priced and great for casual or hard-core gaming.

World of Warcraft is not a graphicly intense game. $1500 for a PC for WOW is overkill. I ran WOW on a 1.1ghz celeron, 256mb of ram and a integrated graphics card, (10 year old computer) So you should be able to run it on a $500 PC

    The requirements are:

Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 (32- & 64-bit supported)

Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP 1500+ 1300 MHz

512 MB or more of RAM (1 GB for Vista Users)

32 MB 3D video card with Hardware T&L or better

    15 GB free HD space

    1× DVD drive

    Broadband Internet connection

So a netbook, or nettop should have no issue playing it. Even a low end full sized desktop should run it fine.
