I agree, there are too many people who use silly or useless logic to back themselves up, I recently finished a debate with someone who used logic that I was able to turn around on him, I was able to prove godzilla was real and walked the earth in the way he proved Jesus had. The sad thing was we weren't even arguing about Jesus being real or not... But I got tired of it because he would prove nothing, only claimed to be able to back his points up, and did not believe everyone else had a right to believe in another religion besides his own. so it got boring fast...

So yeah, I know where your coming from, it is sad, but that is just how people are. They just really do not care.

An atheist believes if you do not question everything around you than you will never progress. Religion vs Science its a battle that rages for 4000 years, The internet is just something else we can throw at eachother. If religion wins, we become Zombies, If science wins, The sky is the limit oh wait we broke that, ok the moon, nope we did that too, Ok Mars then, Mars is the limit.

I used to follow children blindly, after Chris Hansen, I have learned the error of my ways. Now, I use religion.

It's an ego game. All people arguing that their title for whatever the truth is makes more sense and that their details are true and the others aren't. But it's all a meaningless game until you throw everything out and start from square one (i.e. asking "what can I KNOW for sure?"
