Like this girl. A LOT. PLEASE HELP.?
Alright here's the deal.
I'm a junior in high school, she's a sophomore. She's practically best friends with my sister, who's also a sophomore.
Over the summer, one of her other friends, is now dating MY best friend. Now the two of them occasionally try to hook the two of us up, some way or another.
About the girl, I LIKE. She is VERY smart. Top 10 in her clas, I believe. Has a large group of friends, although I woudnt necessarilly call her one of the popular girls in her grade. She is shy around me, which is the reason I can't tell if she's trying to avoid me or if she does actually like me, as well .
We do exchange texts every few days, usually her starting the conversation. She writes on my facebook wall occasionally, just about random stuff.
Homecoming is coming up and I'm not sure if it would be weird if I ask my sisters best friend to it. My bestfriends girlfriend is pushing me to ask her, but I'm not 100% sure if I should.
PLEASE HELP!!

I would say ask her because even if you do and you get rejected at least you know that you tried instead of regretting it, because in the long run you probably would regret not asking her especially if you really like her. And the fact that she almost always starts the conversations means she might like you too.
