having trouble upping my typing speed :(?
i can already type over 100 words per minute, my highest is 114 wpm but it hasn't gone up hardly at all over the last 8 months which im angry about! im always trying to get faster (just a personal thing, i really have no reason) I take typing test regularly and type up school assignments whenever i can. any tips on how to get faster?

114wpm is in the "professional" range (you need about 80 to pass most typing tests). It's not going to get much faster very quickly unless you type 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Maybe 1 or 2 wpm faster a year.

I use several free typing courses online to improve my speed but I am more near 50 wpm, wow your fingers are flying.
Sorry to hear that. I had a friend going to Court reporting school and could not complete the course, she got to a typing speed and after about 8 months of intense practice, never could advance any faster unfortunately for her.

relax, mate! just let your fingers flow over the keyboard. by your 114 wpm i guess you can touch type. waddaya need to speed type for anyway? the world championships?
