    Hey,

Firstly you're only 14, so you probably haven't even got much testosterone. But the main reason if that you're not giving your muscles any rest, and twice a day is a bit much to ask for 14yr old muscles.

Try and do your pushups only 4-5 days a week, then on Saturday and Sunday give them a break. I find that if you do pushups twice a day 3 days a week only (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) you will get stronger and you're muscles will get bigger.

The reason why it seems to get harder is that your muscles only grow and repair themselves when they rest. Since you aren't giving them any rest, they can't repair or get stronger. Also, try and have a lot of protein when you exercise, as protein repairs muscle tissue quickly.

    Hope this helps!

Every day? When you push you're muscles, they go catabolic(they break down) and are damaged. Your body then rebuilds them(anabolism) stronger so that they can handle the added stress. You probably havent taken a rest day, thus your muscles are not rebuilding... they are getting weaker. Rest for 2 days, then start ur pushups again. do them every other day instead of everyday and you will become stronger. increase to 35... then 40... ect. over time.

coaching for force =/= coaching for staying power....is why its more difficult....equal thought as while men ask, "i will be able to do five pull u.s.a.with a forty five pound plate, why cant i do greater than 10 in a collection with frame weight?"...edurance isn't force, force isn't staying power
