Ontario, Canada Traffic Court?

I have received the courts disclosure on a traffic incident and need to re-appear in court. I noticed on the front page of the courts disclosure They have totally mis-spelled my name. I have always heard "Check a traffic ticket for errors!" does a mis-spelled name on the disclosure package result in anything that I should bring to the judges attention?

Yes, you should bring the error to the attention of the judge. No, it does not absolve you of anything, nor throw out the ticket. As long as the error is incidental and doesn't raise any doubt as to the identity of the person involved or the circumstances, it does not affect the outcome.

    Still, it should be corrected.
