I have lived in a house for 7 years, I Initially signed a 2 year lease agreement with my landlord. Now he figures the lease and our Initial agreement is not valid anymore. We are in a huge argument because I don't believe it is legal for him to require me to sign a 2 year lease all of the sudden.

Truth is he is re-mortgaging the house and he says he needs me to sign a 2 year lease agreement. He says the bank requires this. I cannot imagine a landlord being allowed to force me to sign a new 2 year lease. Any input?

I need an old PS2 keyboard, so I bid on one last night on ebay. I was immediately out-bid after 3 bids, and loosing the item, I moved on to find another keyboard for sale. I did, clicked the buy it now button, and await the arrival of my keyboard.

But wait! last night I was told I cannot have it, So i bought another. I don't want 2! I contacted e-bay by phone, and tried to discuss this with them, telling them, it should be "offered" back to me, not placed in my lap and told its mine! they don't understand that, and told me to contact the seller and tell them i don't want it. I replied with "but why do i have to do this? i take pride in keeping my e-bay purchases paid for, and serious. I don't want a bid retraction on my account." Why wouldn't e-bay just offer this item back to me, instead of forcing it on me, then leaving me and the seller with wasted time communicating on this issue, and a possible red mark on my purchase history. E-bay phone support closed with, "contact the seller and retract the bid, we are pleased we were able to help you today, goodbye" Question is, will this effect my purchase history on e-bay? will it leave a bad mark on my account if I retract?

I am looking for raw (un-tabbed) not mounted to a panel, 3x6 or 6x6 solar cells. (to create a custom solar panel) I look on eBay, and find lots of cells, but the max power seems to be about 3.4W per 6x6 cell. can anyone suggest an online, or Canadian retailer that sells higher efficiency cells?

I signed up a Facebook account, Used my company email address, said "no" to searching for recommendations for friends based on my email address book.... with no friends added, Facebook now suggest all my clients, and everyone i have ever sent an email to who also has Facebook to be a friend! how in the world did Facebook manage to figure out all my email contacts? is that even legal? my customers base is absolutely top secret to me, does this mean anyone can figure out who i email? I have my own company domain, this isn't just a Yahoo or Google free email account. Now does that also mean Facebook will connect my customers with each other as possible friends?

Nice work Facebook! see yah! will never sign up for that again u hacks! I must say, i was amused when i choose to delete my newly created Facebook, it takes many weeks before they will just "in case i change my mind!" Even if you don't have any answers to this, has anyone else been this annoyed with Facebook? share it. I need some advice, I live in Ontario Canada, my Girl has moved back to BC for the summer to work. She has a job at a simple small family run grocery store. and she faces some pretty serious discrimination issues. She is Vietnamese while all the other workers are Canadians. The father owns the fruit stand, and his 2 daughters work there. Some how things like 50 lb bags of potatoes and a lot of fruit and vegetables always go missing. (she is 92lbs, and takes a variety of bus routes home, so shes not carrying 50lb bags of potatoes home!) She is the most honest girl ever, would never steal a thing, yet the daughter ( 18 years old canadian girl) always insists on searching her, and her bags when she arrives in the morning, when she steps outside for a break or lunch, and a through search when she is going home for the day. She is verbally degraded by this person all the time. When the father, the owner is around, she backs off and hides her devious intensions, but is relentless on my girl that she is a thief. The daughter is very jealous because she wants her friend to work there, so her plot is clear, make her look like a thief, then degrade her until she finally quits. Now my girl is Vietnamese, a clear visible minority, A very very shy girl, and just a plain hard worker. Saying something to the boss is not something she can do. She is a strong at heart girl, she can take the abuse but I cant! I plan to go out there to see whats going on, but I'm just not sure what to do or say! We have clear rules for workplace behavior in Canada, but what should be the appropriate approach? Sounds easy to say "quit her job and find another" but she cant, her English is not good, and finding work is not easy. Somehow the discrimination has to stop, and peace should be brought to her workplace, but what can i do, that will help solve this? any ideas? She only has one more month of work before she comes home, and she insists she can stand it while she is there, Just I cant.... She calls in tears almost every night from the accusations she gets. How would you deal with this?

I found this truck for sale on the internet for $19,999...(not the dealers website they had it posted on auto-traders website.) I went there to look at it, and saw the sticker in the window was the same price. When i came home and checked the dealerships website, the price was $18,888, and they call this the "internet price" adding to this, there is a button on their website that says "make an offer" Question is, what would be a reasonable offer to make these guys? they already drop the price on the internet by $1111.00, what would be an offer they wouldn't refuse? No financing, just a cash sale,. Never bought a car like this at a small dealership, so i don't know what the "haggling procedure is" any advice how to get the best deal?

I have a 10mp webcam able to produce a great image. When using a yahoo webcam on my Cable internet connection at home, the quality of the cam is very poor. I see the high quality image, but my partner sees a much lower quality image. When i switch and use my Mobile 3G connection with a rocket stick, I see the good quality image, and my partner also sees the good quality image. Any ideas why I cant broadcast the higher quality image on the Cable connection?

So my computer has a definite problem that I am sure is related to a virus. I have used many virus scanners to try and solve the problem but nothing does. Here is the explanation.

Malware-bytes catches "ymsg12encrypt.dll" as a virus. From my reading, this file is a legit yahoo messenger file but there is a trojan "Win32-Refroso-ejh" that either embeds itself or replaces "ymsg12encrypt.dll" I have tried the manual removal instructions I can find on the internet, tried all the free virus scanners I can find that say they can solve the problem, every scanner finds "ymsg12encrypt.dll" to be a virus, but none of them fix it despite the programs claim that it was successfully quarantined.

Has anyone had this virus? and found a true fix that can really remove this? I don't need links from google, I have googled this to death, I need a sure fire solution to this one.

I have received the courts disclosure on a traffic incident and need to re-appear in court. I noticed on the front page of the courts disclosure They have totally mis-spelled my name. I have always heard "Check a traffic ticket for errors!" does a mis-spelled name on the disclosure package result in anything that I should bring to the judges attention?

Does anyone have any unique ideas? I'm looking for product ideas. Think about your hobbies. Is there anything that you use that it would benefit you to have made from carbon fiber? very strong and super lightweight... Bought a plane ticket for this sunday through travelocity. Today, I check info on ticket, and I cannot log in anymore! gives me this error message

I called Travelocity, and they say, there is no technical support over the phone, I have to e-mail. So i did once yesterday and again today. No reply at all. I do not have any 3rd party pop up blockers that I have knowingly installed.

Does anyone who has dealt with travelocity had this many errors? can anyone tell me if I should worry? I have a Trip ID number, Is this all I need to take to the airport is the number and my id?

Any advice to put my mind at ease would help! I leave in 24 hours and can not get any straight answers from travelocity.

I live in the middle of nowhere and people still access my wireless connection! Usually it is just an i-pod that may just automatically connect while they drive by the house. But it got me thinking, is there any small application that will hover a window on my desktop showing the DHCP client list? maybe even beep when someone connects to the network?
