Homosexuality proof that reincarnation exists?

Reincarnation is the idea that consciousness transcends death (i.e. a soul/spirit). But consciousness is nothing more than chemical reactions. Since those chemical reactions (i.e. consciousness) do not transcend death, souls/spirits do not exist; thus concepts of life after death (reincarnation, heaven and hell, etc.) are null.

Honestly, I'd have to disagree with that theory. Being a gay man and a strong believer in reincarnation, I see several things wrong with this idea. First of all, reincarnation is all about the path of the soul, not the body. The human soul is equally female and male, and therefore is both genders and also genderless. It is the harboring of the soul in the body that brings either the masculine or feminine attributes to the surface (i.e., men typically showcase the masculine aspects of the soul, and women typically showcase the feminine aspects of the soul). But no matter what gender you may have been in a previous life, your soul does not permanently identify with that gender.

Also, sexual attraction is not solely determined by gender. Sexuality is not just black and white, it's all shades of grey. There's so much more to human sexuality than gay, straight, or bi, and therefore it cannot be generalized. Being attracted to men is not simply a feminine trait, and being attracted to women is not simply a masculine trait. Different people have different attractions, and it shouldn't be narrowed down to masculine vs feminine, or vice versa.

I don't know about homosexuality, but reincarnation would certainly explain transsexuality. Maybe I was a boy in a past life, and that carried over into this one.

As a Pagan-follower, what you just said makes absolutely no sense when it comes to reincarnation. A past life would mean your soul. A soul is neither male or female, as souls do not have reproductive organs. That alone would mean, that if in your past life you were a female and now male, you could still like the opposite sex. A soul or spirit within another person simply is, and our body guides us along a path to make a difference.

ive heard a few things such as we all will live th enite sexual expereince before we move on , we will live what we make fun of or despise or misuse like the male chauvinist pig will definatly come back as a very submissive female . or we never are not attached to those around us the same people are with us in every reincarnation in some aspect your daughter might be your mom . we live mmany lives as one reincarnation signes of this are men whom have an uncanny ability to seduce women seems to show thye themselves lived many lives as women

I don't know, but there was no proof offered here, just baseless speculation and opinion. Proving that reincarnation exists, requires a working theory that can be tested by the Scientific Method.

Not any life reincarnates it is a total myth brought on by watching butterflies transform from a moth to a "reincarnated" butterfly! We do nothing like this! We just die and then we are buried or burned!

Does that mean animals get reincarnated, too? Some do perform homosexuality, from amoebas to apes.

I believe in reincarnation but homosexuality has existed sense the beginning so it's highly unlikely that this is the cause.
