Excellent question. I am more apt, prone to, disposed to be more positive about ANYTHING when my mind is in the right frame of mind. When God gets the first part of my day, the rest of the day is a breeze. Sometimes, when I don't... my mood could be pessimistic, and sometimes, downright chaotic.

    I Didn't Have Time

I got up early one morning

And rushed right into the day!

I had so much to accomplish

That I didn't have time to pray.

    Problems just tumbled about me,

    And heavier came each task.

"Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered.

    He answered, "You didn't ask!"

    I tried to come into God's presence;

I used all my keys at the lock.

    God gently and lovingly chided,

    "Why, child, you didn't knock!"

I wanted to see joy and beauty,

But the day toiled on, gray and bleak.

I wondered why God didn't show me.

He said, "But you didn't seek."

I woke up early this morning,

And paused before entering the day.

I had so much to accomplish

That I had to take time to pray!

it is then when I am encouraged by the praise of others for our God.

Spirits have been disproven by 200 years of neurology. It was once thought that it was the spirit (or soul) that humans thought with, but it has been proven that it's the brain. Parallel to that, there has never been any evidence of a soul, nor any concrete definition. Therefor, my answer is no.

    Yes and no.

Most of the time people in their praise of the Eternal are filtering their thoughts through a counterfeit religion they presume to be Christian.

No...actually it's more like an urge in my rectal region to spew the same chunks that people spew when praising gods!

Oh man, religious "poetry"! Now it's "both exits, no waiting!"!

For me it's more like sudden onset nausea mixed with some sad thoughts about the massive defects in my species.

Yes : ) I love it, When I walk into church I just want to dance. I don't want praise and worship to end but you have to have the sermon of course, LOL.

No, actually if it sounds like their "praise" is genuine and sincere, I am filled with sadness;when another human with a fully-formed and fully-functional brain willingly "gives up" their autonomy to some Imaginary Sky Pixie, it makes me a little sad...

    "God" is a complete fiction...

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?

    Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing?

    Then he is malevolent.

Is he both able and willing?

    Then whence cometh evil?

Is he neither able nor willing?

    Then why call him God?

Yes! Who wouldn't? I love when people sing about me. It's almost as pleasant as the smell of my own farts.
