For Japanese students or native speakers?

How would you say How did you sleep? in Nihongo? My girlfriend lived in Japan and I think she would apprecaite the interest in her second language. Arigatou.

よく眠れた? Yoku nemureta? (= Could you sleep well?; Did you have a sound sleep?)

Since you're saying this to your girlfriend, it should be in the informal form.

How did you sleep? in Nihongo is literally: Dou neta kai? But this is not how Japanese people say it. They would ask. Yoku nerareta (kai). = Did you sleep well?

You can trust Lutlam. His Japanese explanations are always very good.
