Who thinks Dru Brees will be a victim of the Madden curse this year?
He's the cover model for this year's edition of the "Madden NFL" video game.

it seems so easy to say its all coincidental. but damn, the "curse" has rang true on every frickin player in some form or anouther.
after so many times youve got to raise an eyebrow.
i know this thogh,
If I was a pro football player, there would be no way in hell i do the madden cover.
will he be a victim? history says, yes.
@ sports man, fritgerald got injured and missed the pro bowl game (not a big deal) and farve tore his bicept affecting his play down the stretch

it's hard to say. everybody on the cover has gotten cursed (injured) pretty much every year. Only Larry Fitzgerald (last year's cover co-model with Polamalu) and Brett Favre (Madden 09) weren't cursed or injured. I'd say no, the Madden Curse stops. Brees makes the NFL exciting, he's an exciting QB, so I'm hoping he doesn't.

No such thing as curses. Brees does have history with injuries, so if he gets hurt it won't be because of the Madden. I expect another great pro bowl year out of Brees.

I just don't believe in curses. Football is a contact sport and injuries are very common.
