do it gradually.
If for example, you normally drink 6 cups of coffee a day try this.
On the first day, skip the last cup of coffee so you now only drank 5.
Stick to 5 cups a day for 2-3 days.
Then drop it down to 4 cups of coffee.
Stick to 4 for 2-3 days.
keep that up until you are down to 1 cup of coffee.
That last cup of coffee you can either decide to keep(I did) or make it a smaller cup or switch to half caffeine coffee and do that for a couple of days and then just switch to a nice herbal tea.
I like something hot in the morning and it doesn't HAVE to be coffee any more. A hot cup of herbal tea is good too.
It will be relatively painless weaning off caffeine.
By the way, if you are using artificial sweetener in your coffee might be part of the stomach issues.
That stuff makes me sick. Did not used to at as I used to drink tons of diet soft drinks and use diet flavorings in my coffee but cannot any more. It makes my stomach cramp and makes me feel funny.

My experience has been that if you can push through for about 3 days the headaches will subside. FInd something non-caffeinated that you like to drink and take some ibuprofen, aspirin, tylenol, whatever works for you and wait it out. (If you are currently drinking a LOT of caffeine a day, you might start by cutting down until you are at one "serving" a day before you completely stop.)

Wean yourself off of caffeine. Try mixing half and half of caf and de-caf for a while decreasing the caf each day. Give it a week or so.
