    It looks good on a resume for college if you're (sp.) the sophomore class president.

    It's good as one extracurricular activity, but it won't stand out. You must demonstrate you did something extraordinary as sophomore president, or demonstrate your dedication by being elected for consecutive years if you wish for it to truly stand out.
